HabitsOS is designed to help you track daily practices, reflect on patterns, and make small edits to your personal operating system. This policy explains what information is collected and how it is used.
Information We Collect
HabitsOS may collect account information such as your email address when you create an account, log in, reset your password, contact support, or join the early access list.
If you use cloud backup, HabitsOS stores a copy of your app state, which may include onboarding answers, active principles, habit logs, check-in metrics, notification preferences, and other settings you save inside the app.
If you submit a contact message, HabitsOS stores the name, email address, message, and user account id when available so support requests can be reviewed and answered.
How We Use Information
We use information to provide account access, password reset, cloud backup and restore, support responses, early access communication, and future app features such as subscription access or notification preferences.
Local Data and Cloud Backup
HabitsOS currently keeps app data locally on your device. If you choose to use cloud backup from the Account screen, your current local app state is saved to Supabase for your account. Restoring from cloud replaces the local HabitsOS state on that device with the saved cloud backup.
Notifications
HabitsOS includes settings for future notification types, such as daily reminders, system reflections, unlock alerts, and missed practice reminders. Actual push notification scheduling may be added later and will use your selected preferences.
Sharing
HabitsOS does not sell your personal information. We use service providers, including Supabase, to operate account, database, authentication, and website signup features.
Account Deletion
You can request account deletion inside the app. Deleting your account removes your HabitsOS cloud account and associated cloud rows used for app state, contact messages, and entitlement status. Local data on a device may remain until removed from that device.
Children
HabitsOS is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us so it can be removed.
